New build below ground structures that form usable space require protection from groundwater. The level of protection can be determined by considering British Standard BS8102 which details performance grades for areas dependant on their use.

BS8102 states that a waterproofing specialist should form part of the design team. This is also often called for by warranty providers such as NHBC, Premier Guarantee and LABC Warrantry.

Our surveyors hold the industry standard CSSW qualification and are happy to work with a building design team to ensure that a waterproofing system is correctly designed for a building at the stage of planning.
