Why Service a Pump?
Cavity drainage systems are ‘working systems’ that contain mechanical components. It is of the utmost importance that the mechanical features of this system are maintained on a regular basis to check that they are functioning correctly.
Servicing must be carried out by appropriately qualified pump system experts who are trained to keep a pump station in optimum condition and who spot potential problems before failure.

Failure to service the system could result in non-functioning of the pump(s), which might allow the area to flood. We must stress that structural waterproofing of a basement that incorporates a pump system relies on the pump working. If it fails to work, for whatever reason, flooding might occur.
